Tribal Council Meeting 10-08-2025

Attendees: Jill Cresey-Gross, John Hunt, Bill Bailey, Brittany Johnson, Dan Coutu

Spent time working on the Criteria for Serving on TC document.
For item 3 in the criteria: Must demonstrate a knowledge of basic etiquette regarding
cultural elements such as ceremony and powwow participation. Must provide evidence of
knowledge of our material culture (as opposed to that of other nations) such as beadwork,
leatherwork, regalia, basket making, and so forth.
Revised item 9 to simplify the dates.

Removed the idea of needing a minimum number of votes.
Discussed the idea of changing the ballots so that for each person there are three
checkboxes:

Then if a person has more Opposed votes than In favor votes they don’t get elected.
