Two recent historic land transfers
Covenant Hills Children’s Camp to become tribal headquarters
The New England Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church formally deeded 270.5 acres of land in Cabot and Peacham, Vermont, back to the Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk Abenaki Nation in June 2026. The property was formerly known as the Covenant Hills Christian Camp, which operated from 1989 to 2015.

Historic Land Transfer in Wheelock
The Nulhegan Tribe and AHA has completed the land transfer on a 354 acre parcel of land located near Lyndonville, VT. This land has a cabin and sugarhouse located on the property. It is all woodland and has no agricultural areas. This is a proud moment in recapturing some more of our land back within our homelands.
